The FOUNDATION study is looking to see if it is possible to conduct a clinical trial of bilateral cochlear implantation for adults with severe to profound deafness in the future. To do this, it is conducting a short online survey about attitudes towards such a trial and what it may look like. The study, led by Padraig Kitterick, is very keen to collect the views of clinicians working in cochlear implant services as well as adults with severe to profound deafness with or without cochlear implants. You do not need to have experience of research, clinical trials, or bilateral cochlear implants to answer the survey. A direct link to the survey and more information about the study in general can be found on the FOUNDATION study website at http://www.foundation-study.org.uk
