CICS - Cochlear Implanted Children's Support Group
The CICS Group was founded by parents whose children have cochlear implants to share first-hand experience of the issues that surround life with an implanted child to provide a vital part of the pre and post implantation process - support for parents by parents. They can tell you what it's really like to have a cochlear implant and put you in touch with teenagers and/or parents of Children who already have an implant.

Home Counties Cochlear Implant Group
An informal group for CI users, their families and people awaiting implants. The group is based in North London but members range from as far south as West Sussex to right up into North Hertfordshire and Essax. The group have won a grant of £5000 from the National Lottery to purchase speech-to-text equipment for their meetings. HCCIG have a newsletter and a lively social programme.
