The BCIG Quality Standards are due for review. This document is an important resource for our field:

Many centres have changed their service provision significantly in the past year, and moved into more stratified person-centred care – offering differing levels of service according to patient need and preference. This is a fantastic opportunity to rewrite BCIG’s Quality Standards and hopefully incorporate evidence-based aspects.

We want to set up a Special Interest Group (SIG) to work on the new Quality Standards – this SIG will be headed by Dan Jiang and Helen Cullington.

It’s a great opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of our field. The meetings will be via Teams which hopefully will help.

Please get in touch by emailing if you would like to be involved.
