End of Service Notice

Control Unit & Accessories End of Service
SONNET and RONDO 2,
incl. FineTuner, D-Coil Bases and Magnets
Due to the availability of newer generation items and changes in market regulations, MED-EL UK & Ireland will no longer be able to support the purchase or provide repair services of certain products after the dates below:
Friday 31 March 2028 | First-generation SONNET and RONDO 2 audio processors, including FineTuner, D-Coil Bases and Magnets
After this date, neither MED-EL UK & Ireland nor MED-EL Headquarters in Innsbruck will be able to supply repair stock or provide repair support for these products.
We therefore recommend upgrading existing SONNET and RONDO 2 users to the latest generation audio processors as soon as possible. This will ensure continued access to MED-EL’s latest audio processor technology and ongoing support.
Please note that this change does not affect the sale or repair of SONNET accessories that are compatible with later-generation processors, including SONNET 2 and SONNET 3.
